Causeni district hospital of Moldova endowed with computerized tomograph

Chisinau, 20 October /MOLDPRES/ - A computerized tomograph today was inaugurated at the first district medical institution of Moldova, the Causeni district hospital, Ana and Alexandru.
Due to the equipment, patients in critical condition will have access to an advanced way of diagnosing nearby their place of residence. ‘’Qualified assistance will be provided at the institution, including to people with cerebral vascular accident (CVA), both from Causeni and the Stefan Voda and Slobozia districts,’’ the Health Ministry said.
The equipment was purchased, at a request by the Health Ministry, by the Office of the World Health Organization in Moldova, with funds of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation. The cost of the tomograph is of 6.5 million lei (325,000 euros).
Computerized tomographs needed for the work of the CVA primary centres will be inaugurated also at the district hospitals from Hancesti, Floresti, Edinet, Soroca, Comrat.
