National Museum of Ethnography and Natural History hosts folk crafts fair

Chisinau, Oct. 23 /MOLDPRES/- National Museum of Ethnography and Natural History hosted a traditional fair of folk craftsmen on October 22.
Institution's head Petru Vicol said that the fair aimed to promote traditional crafts, folk craftsmen and museum heritage. It was dedicated to the 134th anniversary of the foundation of the National Museum of Ethnography and Natural History.
25 popular craftsmen from all fields participated in the event.
The museum from the beginning of the collection of ethnographic pieces focused on collections that reflect the basic occupations of human society and the traditional culture of the territory of Bessarabia, and later of the Republic of Moldova. In this context, the collaboration between the museum and folk craftsmen has become a beautiful tradition at the Museum.
