Main aqueduct to be built in Hâncești district

Chisinau, Oct. 23 /MOLDPRES/- By autumn 2025, a main aqueduct will be built in Hâncești district on Sărata Răzeși - Voinescu - Mingir route.
Over 7,300 inhabitants of these villages will have improved access to the quality drinking water supply service.
According to the Regional Development Agency (ADR) Centre, the works are currently being carried out in the Voinescu locality, where about 6 km of water supply network with a pipe diameter of 140 mm have already been built.
"The project is financed by the National Fund for Regional and Local Development (FNDRL) and provides for the construction of 12 km of main aqueduct networks, two drinking water castles and two water disinfection stations for Voinescu and Mingir localities. The total value, according to the financing contract, is about 18.33 million lei (approx. 920,000 euros), and the construction works will be completed by the fall of 2025," explained the cited source.
The newly built highway will be connected to the water supply source from the Leova - Iargara aqueduct through Leova - Tomai, known for its performance in capturing, treating and transporting potable water from the Prut River.
