Team of sports journalists from Moldova wins international football tournament from Armenia

Chisinau, 23 October /MOLDPRES/ - The team of the Sports Press Association of Moldova (APSM) has ranked first at the international football tournament held in Syunik, Armenia. The Moldovan press employees, among whom also a representative of the MOLDPRESA State News Agency, got 19 points, which allowed them win the trophy.

The national teams representing seven countries competed at the tournament in Syunik.

„This was an extraordinary experience to communicate through sport with colleagues from different countries. The sport unites us and make us stronger and the happiness was double, as we returned home with victory,’’ the Moldpres employee who took part in the tournament, Nicolai Iurcovschii, said.

The Sports Press Association of Moldova has over 50 members, sports journalists from all regions of the country and is member of the International Sports Press Association.
