Table grapes export from Moldova keeps growing

Chisinau, Oct. 24 /MOLDPRES/- Table grapes producers record a favorable situation in export. Over the past two weeks, winegrowers managed to increase the quantity and value of grape exports by 32.5% and 38.5%, respectively, compared to the same period last year.
According to data by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry (MAIA), the last two weeks, about ten thousand tons were exported, with a total value of over six million dollars.
The main destinations of the export of grapes are the Russian Federation - 3.3 thousand tons (34%) and Romania - about 2.1 thousand tons (or 22%)", according to data of the Ministry of Agriculture.
