Cargo trucks not to be admitted for inspection by 2:00 p.m. at Sculeni Customs post, Romanian side

Chisinau, Oct. 25 /MOLDPRES/- At Sculeni Customs post, the Romanian side, cargo trucks will not be admitted for customs control, as track rehabilitation works are underway. The Romanian Customs announced that the restriction is valid today until 14:00.

Thus, at the customs point Sculeni (MDA) and on the access road between the two posts Sculeni (MDA) and Sculeni (ROU), trucks are stationed, which are already perfected and waiting to pass for control on the Romanian side, and customs officials from the Republic of Moldova they are unable to offer customs clearance for other trucks, because they physically have nowhere to pass.

In this context, the Customs Service recommends transporters, who intend to cross through the Sculeni customs post, to opt for other customs points.
