Thirty entrepreneurs from Moldova to develop businesses within project implemented by UNDP

Chisinau, 26 October /MOLDPRES/ - Thirty entrepreneurs will benefit from support for starting or developing a business within the project, Development of Export Capacities on the Banks of the Dniester River (AdTrad), financed by Sweden, United Kingdom and implemented by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
The entrepreneurs were selected out of 233 participants in the contest and will get financial assistance for buying assets and services worth up to 15,000 dollars each. Those 30 proposals selected are from diverse activity fields and envisage, inter alia, the development of bee-keeping businesses and use of innovating technologies, production of juices and jams and production of semi-products.
Besides the non-refundable financial support, the winners will also benefit from mentoring and free of charge access to topic-related seminars during 18 months. In all, the businesses backed, of which 18 are led by women, will create 60 permanent and seasonal jobs on both banks of Dniester, including for vulnerable groups.
