Moldovan parliament adopted 98 normative acts in October

Chisinau, Nov. 2 /MOLDPRES/- At the plenary sessions in October, the Parliament adopted 98 documents. 44 normative acts entered the legislative procedure.
According to the parliament's communication and public relations department, the MPs approved in the first reading 58 draft laws, 13 of which were aimed at adjusting national legislation to the European Union one. They also examined and adopted in the second reading 40 legislative initiatives. 29 are draft laws and 11 are decisions. Four of the projects adopted in the second reading sought to harmonize national legislation with the EU acquis.
Among the documents adopted are projects aimed at rectifying the state budget for this year, the social insurance budget and the mandatory medical assistance insurance funds to include salary increases, one-off payments and the financing of some development projects. Parliament also adopted legislative initiatives regarding the facilitation of the development of energy infrastructure projects and ratified financing agreements so that beneficiaries from the Republic of Moldova can access grants offered by the European Commission.
The MPs also adopted a lot of projects with the EU logo - purchases in the energy, water, transport and postal services sectors, as well as the consolidation of aspects regarding financial market infrastructures. Several agreements concluded on the Commonwealth of Independent States platform were also denounced.
