Chisinau, Nov. 3 /MOLDPRES/- Over 1100 residents of Şeptelici, Soroca district, have access to quality drinking water. The project was included in the European Village Program. Government invested 9.7 million lei (485 thousand euros) for its implementation.
Over 20 km of aqueduct networks were built, ensuring the distribution of water throughout the town. Two water towers were also installed.
Drinking water safety was also a project priority. Through the construction of two water treatment plants, it is subjected to rigorous cleaning and purification processes.
"Success in Şeptelici represents more than the water infrastructure. It represents our community spirit, our collective strength and ability to make positive changes when we work together. This achievement shows us that we have the power to overcome any obstacle and that, through solidarity and determination, we can create a better future for Moldova", said Mihail Croitoru, director of the National Office for Regional and Local Development.
The European Village program includes 497 projects. So far, aqueduct construction projects have been implemented in 55 localities of the country.
