Moldovan Public Services Agency to ensure registration of students, pupils with right to vote at temporary place of residence

Chisinau, 4 November /MOLDPRES/ - The multifunctional centres of the Public Services Agency (ASP), on the day of general local elections, will ensure the registration at the temporary place of residence of the students and pupils with right to vote, admitted to the education institutions from the concerned settlement.   

According to ASP, in the case of students, the following documents will be presented: identity card of Moldova’s citizen; contract on lease between the beneficiary of a place in hostel and the lessor.  

At the same time, pupils will present: identity card of Moldova’s citizen; copy of the decision by the education institution which manages the hostel; the order on the distribution of the dwelling space.  

General local elections will be held in Moldova on 5 November.  As many as 898 mayors and 11,058 local councilors, of whom 9,972 village (commune) and 1,086 district/municipal councilors, will be elected at the ballot.
