General local elections. Promo-LEX: 141 incidents reported by 09:00

Chisinau, Nov. 5 /MOLDPRES/- Promo-LEX association registered 141 incidents during the general local elections by 09:00. 44 of them have already been processed. Promo-LEX program director Nicolae Panfil unveiled the data today.

Among the incidents already recorded and processed are cases of obstructing observers' access to the polling station, deficiencies in the operation of the automated Elections information system, deficiencies in the electoral lists, unjustified voting in groups, unjustified presence of unauthorized persons at polling stations, sealing ballot boxes, violation of the secrecy of the vote.

General local elections are taking place today in the Republic of Moldova. Citizens with the right to vote are expected at the 1,958 polling stations to elect mayors and councilors. The voting procedure started at 07.00 and will end at 21.00.
