National Alternative Movement Party candidate: I voted for development of Chisinau

Chisinau, Nov. 5 /MOLDPRES/- I voted for the development of the municipality of Chisinau. National Alternative Movement Party candidate for the position of mayor of the capital Ion Ceban made the statement today.

Ion Ceban came to the polling station with his wife. "Chisinau is our common home, that's why we want a clean, modern and organized city. I love Chisinau and I want the city to further develop by carrying out beautiful projects", said Ceban.

Referring to the election process, the candidate said he wants a fair competition. "We call people to vote, today we choose the mayor and the composition of the municipal council, we decide together what our city will look like in the future", he said.

Today, general local elections are taking place in the Republic of Moldova. Citizens will elect 898 mayors and 11,058 councilors. 2,758,810 voters are expected at the polls.
