Socialist Party candidate: I voted for city that wants to develop

Chisinau, Nov. 5 /MOLDPRES/- Socialist Party candidate for Chisinau mayor Adrian Albu said today upon leaving the polling station that he voted for a city that wants to develop.
"We voted for a city in which we can be respected, where there is a plurality of opinions, a city that wants to develop, a team that knows how to do this. We voted for the generation that is going to grow up, for the seniors that we have to take care of," said Adrian Albu.
He came to the polling station with his wife and children.
General local elections are being held in the Republic of Moldova today, with a total of 1,958 polling stations open. According to the CEC data, around 18% of voters had cast ballots by 12:00.
