PM of Romania conveys message in context general local elections in Moldova

Chisinau, 5 November /MOLDPRES/ - The prime minister of Romania today conveyed a message on support for the candidates who represent the democratic and pro-European forces at the general local elections in Moldova.
In a message put down on his official page, the Romanian PM wrote that he ‘’wishes much success to all candidates who represent the democratic and pro-European forces at the today’s local elections in Moldova.’’
“We need the settlements of Moldova to be led by local authorities with a clear-cut vision towards the Western values. The removal of the so-called Moldovan language would not have been possible without the support of a pro-European administration in Moldova,’’ the official said.
Today, the citizens will vote for the future mayors and local councilors. The citizens will vote for the future mayors and local councilors. Thus, almost 900 mayors and over 11,000 local councilors are to be elected at this ballot. As many as 1,958 polling stations were opened all over Moldova.
