Lilian Carp says Chisinau should be put by the side of European capitals mayor office

Chisinau, 5 November /MOLDPRES/ - We trust the people and we believe that Chisinau must be put just where its place is – by the side of the European capitals, by the side of the well-made things. The candidate of the Action and Solidarity Party (PAS) for the office of Chisinau mayor, Lilian Carp, made statements to this effect today evening, following the closing of the polling stations.  

„Dear citizens of the Chisinau municipality, I thank you for the fact that you have proved an extraordinary mobilization; more people went to vote than it was in 2019, which proves that you care about what is happening in Chisinau. We trust people and we believe that Chisinau must be put just where its place is – by the side of the European capitals, by the side of well-made things,’’ Lilian Carp said.  

The PAS candidate thanked also the team for having backed him and with which he had worked in the electoral campaign. ‘’I thank the team which made a huge effort in this campaign, so that we are able to convey our message. We had a quite complicated mission. I am sure that we will go up to the end, in order to make a comfortable city for everybody,’’ the PAS candidate said.    

Those over 1,950 polling stations opened for the general local elections, held today, closed at 21:00.
