Board of directors of deposit guarantee fund in banking system left without member

Chisinau, Nov. 8 /MOLDPRES/- Victor Ermurachi resigned as a member of the board of directors of the deposit guarantee fund in the banking system. The report for a draft decision stipulating this was approved at today's meeting of the legal committee on rules and immunities.
Victor Ermurachi submitted resignation on October 26, for personal reasons. He was appointed as a member of the Board of Directors of the Deposit Guarantee Fund in the banking system in 2019.
Under the legislation, the Board of Directors of the Deposit Guarantee Fund in the banking system is made up of five members. They are appointed for a term of five years, by a decision of the Parliament, adopted by majority of MPs.
