Moldovan Central Electoral Commission instructs recounting of ballot papers in another seven settlements

Chisinau, 10 November /MOLDPRES/ - The votes ballot papers from the 5 November 2023 general local elections will be recounted in another seven settlements of Moldova. The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) today approved more decisions to this end.
According to CEC, the recounting of the ballot papers will take place in the Cahul municipality, for the office of municipal councilor, Taraclia de Salcie village, Cahul district, for the mayor office; Popestii de Sus village, Drochia district, for the office of mayor and for the office of local councilor; Draganesti commune, Sangerei district, for the position of mayor; Recea village, Straseni district, for the office of local councilor; Soldanesti town, Soldanesti district, for the office of mayor, town and district councilor; Bocani village, Falesti district, for the office of mayor.
The recounting process will be carried out on 12 November at the latest and the result will be brought to CEC’s knowledge on 13 November at the latest.
The Central Electoral Commission on 9 November admitted the recounting of the ballot papers in another 11 settlements of Moldova.
