Moldovan president planted trees near Răzeni village

Chisinau, Nov. 12 /MOLDPRES/- Yesterday, President Maia Sandu launched this autumn's afforestation campaign near Răzeni village, Ialoveni, the presidential press service has reported.

Maia Sandu, employees of the Presidency, residents, students of the village high school, representatives of the EU Delegation to Moldova and employees of the forestry enterprise planted 18 thousand oak and acacia saplings on almost 4 ha of land.

"I urge you to participate in the coming weeks in the planting effort in as many localities as possible in the country. The forest means more beautiful places, more water resources and a healthy environment," said the president.
