Moldovan president has meeting with Her Majesty, Margareta, Custodian of Crown of Romania, His Highness Prince Radu

Chisinau, 13 November /MOLDPRES/ - President Maia Sandu today had a meeting with Her Majesty Margareta, Custodian of the Crown of Romania and His Royal Highness, Princess Radu, on a visit to Chisinau, the presidential press service has reported.

„I discussed with Her Majesty the situation in Moldova and our achievements on the European integration way. I appreciated, each time, the significant and unconditional support of Romania,’’ the Moldovan president said.

The head of state praised the support of the Royal Family of Romania for the openness for Moldova: ‘’I conveyed to Her Majesty our thanks for that fact that she promotes Moldova’s interests in the European capitals, for that fact that she speaks out for our country’s European integration in the discussions with European officials and members of the Royal Families.’’

The Royal Family of Romania supports more projects in education, culture and contributes to the development of the bilateral economic relations through encouraging companies of Romania to invest in Moldova. ‘’Through continuous effort and support, Moldova will manage to become, in a near future, member of the family of free and developed countries on the European continent,’’ President Maia Sandu said.
