Chisinau, 14 November /MOLDPRES/ - The Israeli companies have received instructions to evacuate the Moldovan employees from the dangerous areas and to find for them alternative jobs and places of residence in other regions of the country. Thus, if the employee was not displaced according to the requirements, he/she can contact the Call Centre of the Israeli Population and Immigration Authority at the phone number: 1 700 707 889 (phone call from Israel).
The National Employment Agency of Moldova (ANOFM) has made specifications to this effect, in the context of the security situation in Israel. Thus, the competent authority from Israel ensures a simplified process for the Moldovan workers from constructions, who left Israel starting from 7 October this year without reentry permit.
„This process gives them possibility to return to the State of Israel and continue their work in the constructions sector. The basic responsibility for the return of Moldovan workers to the State of Israel belongs to employers from Israel. The application on approval for reentry will be submitted by the employer to the authorities and will be processed by the Israeli Foreign Workers Administration in a 24-hour period. If the worker gets no answer, he/she can contact the call centre at the phone number +972-779998567 or fill in a form directly on the official page of the Centre for Integration Migration and Integration (CIMI) - https://cimihotline.formtitan.com/homepage#/, where he/she will be able to mention the problem,’’ ANOFM said.
Also, any Moldovan worker employed in Israel based on the Moldovan-Israeli agreement is not obliged to remain and work for the employing company till the expiration of the individual labour contract. Thus, if the employee wants to resign, he/she will give a written notification to employer.
Also, the salary for the hours worked will be paid in accordance with the contractual provisions and, if the salary is not paid, the worker will call the Cell Centre of the Population and Immigration Authority 1 700 707 889 (phone call from Israel) or will fill in the form on the official page of CIMI - https://cimihotline.formtitan.com/homepage#/.
„Any Moldovan worker employed in Israel based on the Moldovan-Israeli Agreement, who wants to leave Israel for good, can withdraw his-/her money from deposit (pensions fund), including from the territory of Moldova. For this, the worker will come to ANOFM. Therefore, the Israeli authorities will transfer the pensions fund to the bank account of the worker in a 30-day term,’’ the institution informed.
Given the security situation in Israel, ANOFM recommends that the Moldovan citizens from Israel follow and observe all security instructions issued by the Israeli authorities and if needed, call the Embassy of Moldova on the webpage: https://israel.mfa.gov.md/ or at the email: [email protected].
