Moldovan PM, top European bank's officials discuss priorities of cooperation

Chisinau, 14 November /MOLDPRES/ - The priorities for Moldova’s economic development have been discussed at a meeting of Prime Minister Dorin Recean and the Managing Director for Eastern Europe and Caucasus of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) Matteo Patrone, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
The officials referred to the common priorities for enhancing the investment attractiveness of Moldova and stimulating the connectivity in trade. The sides reviewed the projects underway in the fields of: energy, finance, good governance and green economy.
At the same time, Dorin Recean and Matteo Patrone discussed measures for stimulating the investments and business, through extending the portfolio of guarantees, in the context of the volatile security situation in the region.
Prime Minister Dorin Recean said the government was implementing, in continuation, the reforms necessary for the country’s sustainable development, with emphasis on the justice reform, economic digitalization, investments in infrastructure and carrying out of the measures of consolidation of the energy security.
