Moldova's foreign ministry issued travel alert for citizens wishing to travel to Sweden

Chisinau, Nov. 15 /MOLDPRES/- The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration (MAEIE) has issued a travel alert for citizens wishing to travel to Sweden. It was announced after the country reintroduces internal border controls.

According to the ministry, the Embassy of our country in the Kingdom of Sweden informs citizens who are in, planning to transit or travel to the Kingdom of Sweden about re-introducing state border control by the Swedish authorities. The measure will be in force until May 11, 2024.

"We recommend citizens to have a valid identity document accepted for crossing the border at all times, during the journey to and from the Kingdom of Sweden", said the MAEIE.
