Chisinau, Nov. 15 /MOLDPRES/- Several educational institutions in the agro-industrial sector, including the Center of excellence in viticulture and winemaking in Chisinau have signed a partnership agreement with the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry (MAIA) for the consolidation, support and collaboration in the agro-industrial education development.
The document was signed at a meeting between Deputy Prime Minister Vladimir Bolea, Minister of Agriculture and Food Industry and managers of agro-industrial educational institutions.
The partnership aims at the joint organization and implementation of agreed activities within infrastructure and technical-material development projects, as well as the implementation of the actions of the National Strategy for Agricultural and Rural Development 2023-2030.
Bolea said that MAIA is committed to financially support within the available means and with the support of donors the development of the infrastructure and the technical-material base of educational institutions with an agro-industrial profile.
The ministry also aims to promote agro-industrial education through educational policies and to facilitate the transfer and expansion of international experiences, innovations and good practices in educational institutions with an agro-industrial profile.
