Moldovan foreign affairs minister has phone conversation with Hungarian counterpart

Chisinau, 16 November /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign Affairs and European Integration Minister Nicu Popescu has had a phone conversation with Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary Péter Szijjártó.
According to the Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry’s (MAEIE) press service, the officials discussed Moldova’s European integration way, highlighting the country’s progress in the process of accession to the European Union, which led to the European Commission’s Recommendation to start the negotiations on accession with Moldova.
„We also tackled the cooperation between Moldova and Hungary, emphasizing the importance to consolidate the economic relations and in this respect we welcomed the return of the WizzAir Company to the air market of Moldova.
Our country is a safe and attractive destination and through introducing these flights, we strengthen the relations with the European cities and continue providing new options of travel for our citizens,’’ Foreign Affairs Minister Nicu Popescu said.
