National judo team won another medal at European Championships

Chisinau, Nov. 19 /MOLDPRES/- The national judo team won another medal at the European U23 Championships. Oxana Diacenco won bronze medal, in the +78kg category.
The Moldovan athlete first defeated Nigar Suleymanova from Azerbaijan, and in the requalifications she passed Marcelina Vranjes from Croatia and Ruslana Bulavina from Ukraine.
With one gold and one bronze medal, the Republic of Moldova currently ranks 8th in the team ranking of the 27 participating countries.
The European U23 Judo Championships takes place in Potsdam, Germany.
