Moldovan, European officials approach current situation

Chisinau, Nov. 21 /MOLDPRES/- Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Oleg Serebrian had today a working meeting with EU special representative in the negotiation process regarding the Transnistrian settlement Dorota Dlouchy-Suliga, on a working visit to Moldova, the Reintegration Policy Office has reported.
The discussions focused on the current situation in the dialogue between Chisinau and Tiraspol, Chisinau's approaches to solving current problems, the government's short- and medium-term priorities in promoting the country's reintegration policies.
The deputy premier for reintegration said that the Moldovan authorities' actions aim at restoring the unique national spaces, bringing the commercial-economic activities in the Transnistrian region to the rigors of the national normative framework, the social protection of the inhabitants of the eastern districts of the country, the respect for fundamental human rights and freedoms.
The need for multidimensional coordination of activities related to the Transnistrian case was reaffirmed in all dialogue formats between Chisinau and Brussels.
