Moldovan diplomacy head has meeting with secretary general of Regional Cooperation Council

Chisinau, 23 November /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign Affairs and European Integration Minister Nicu Popescu has had a meeting with Secretary General of the Regional Cooperation Council (RCC) Majlinda Bregu, accompanied by the team of the RCC Secretariat, the Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry’s (MAEIE) press service has reported.

At the meeting, Nicu Popescu said that this year and the 2024 year were important for the members states of the South East European Cooperation Process (SEECP), which are in the process of joining the European Union. At the same time, the Moldovan official emphasized the importance and the role of the regional organizations in the promotion of the European agenda of the states from the South Eastern Europe.

„We are interested in Moldova to be included in the regional projects in such sectors as tourism, development of the small- and medium-sized business, youth, digital transformation, justice and domestic affairs, as well as the environmental protection,’’ the Moldovan official said.
