Draft National Security Strategy of Moldova submitted to parliament for consultations

Chisinau, 24 November /MOLDPRES/ - The legislative initiative received on behalf of President Maia Sandu, National Security Strategy, has been improved with proposals received on behalf of the central authorities, civil society’s organizations and development partners.

According to the presidential press service, following the public consultations and collection of recommendations on the draft national security strategy of Moldova, the document was submitted to parliament for consideration and adoption.

The Strategy is a reference document for the central and local authorities and provides strategic guidance for strengthening the security and resilience of Moldova on many dimensions. The Strategy provides an answer to the complex challenges of the security environment.
