Moldovan Constitutional Court to have new member

Chisinau, 24 November /MOLDPRES/ - Viorica Puica, nominated for the office of judge of the Constitutional Court, took the oath in the parliament’s plenum today.
Viorica Puica took the oath before President Maia Sandu, Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu and the members of the Superior Council of Magistracy (CSM).
Viorica Puica has an experience of more than 20 years in the justice sector. She was elected to the office of Constitutional Court judge following public contest, organized by CSM.
The Constitutional Court is made up of six judges. Two of them are appointed by the parliament, two – by the government and two – by the Superior Council of Magistracy.
