Prime Minister: Fulger brigade - example of devotion and defense of country

Chisinau, Dec. 5 /MOLDPRES/- Today Fulger special purpose police brigade marks 32 years since its foundation. Prime Minister Dorin Recean congratulated the former and current employees of the institution, and as a sign of gratitude for conscientious attitude towards their duties, professional mastery and patriotism, he handed over several Diplomas of Honor on behalf of the government, the government's communication department has reported.

The official highlighted the courage and professionalism of the Fulger Brigade over the years. He noted that the team was always on the front line to intervene in the most difficult situations. According to the prime minister, competence and efficiency remain the key values of the brigade's activity, which are important for ensuring the security of the people of our country.

"In the context of the complex challenges we face, the Fulger Brigade, along with the other force institutions, protect our citizens and fundamental values and are an example of devotion and defense of the homeland," said Recean.

The Fulger Brigade, created on December 5, 1991, is a subdivision of the General Police Inspectorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, specialized in carrying out special missions to ensure public order.
