Moldova's national team of para judo gets two medals at IBSA's Grand Prix in Tokyo

Chisinau, 5 December /MOLDPRES/ - The representatives of the national para judo team got two golden medals at the para judo Grand Prix which took place in Tokyo, Japan, on 4-5 December.
Thus, Oleg Cretul won a golden medal at the weight category of 90 kg. On his way to victory, the Moldovan sportsman managed to defeat rivals from Japan, Sweden, France and the United Kingdom.
Ion Basoc won the gold at the weight category of 90+, defeating sportspeople from Uzbekistan and Mongolia and winning in the final against the double Paralympic champion and triple world champion Ilham Zakiyev from Azerbaijan.
The third member of Moldova’s team is Ina Cernei, who ranked seventh.
