As many as 114 medical, sanitary institutions of Moldova receive computers with World Health Organization's support

Chisinau, 5 December /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 114 public medical and sanitary institutions of primary medical assistance and ambulatory specialized assistance today received modern computers purchased with the support of the World Health Organization (WHO).

The event on the computers’ official delivery took place at the Health Centre from Truseni, Chisinau municipality, which is one of the beneficiary institutions.

According to the Health Ministry, due to this equipment, the system of monitoring and reporting of vaccination against COVID-19 and influenza, as well as the capacities of the vaccination rooms of the public medical and sanitary institutions will be consolidated, taking into account the essential importance of the technology in the efficient management of information.

The consignment of 400 computers was purchased by WHO, with the financial support of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Moldova, with the cost being of 258,800 dollars.
