Moldovan MPs convene at plenary meeting on 7 December

Chisinau, 6 December /MOLDPRES/ - The MPs will convene at a plenary meeting on 7 December. The parliament today approved the agenda of the plenary meetings for 7-15 December.
Nine out of the drafts due to be considered by the lawmakers regard the adjusting of the national legislation to the EU’s acquis.
In the first reading, the MPs will examine, as priority, the draft state budget for 2024 of the mandatory health insurances accounts and the budget of the state social insurances budget for the next year. The lawmakers will also discuss the drafts on rectification of the state budget for this year; simplification of the process of working out of the draft normative acts; diminution of the customs duties; on the status, behavior and ethic of the MP. In the first reading, the MPs will consider the draft on the exercising of the profession of physician, on the architectural work and on the amendment of the normative framework related to the Law on the state tax.
In the second reading, the lawmakers will examine the drafts on medicines; on the state guaranteed mediation services; extension of the term of carrying out of the activity of qualified care of children based on the entrepreneur’s licence; establishment of the system of electronic voting in the local, district and municipal councils and the draft on electric energy. The agenda also comprises the drafts on ensuring the integrity and functionality of the electric energy market and the one on the establishment of a new mechanism of calculation of the payment for the possession and use of lands of the category of waters’ fund.
At the same time, the lawmakers are to ratify a string of documents: on financing with the European Investment Bank for the implementation of Moldova’s Orchard Project; with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development for the implementation of the projects, RLF – Moldovan Railways Crisis Response and Moldova Gas Security Supply; with Portugal in the fields of language, education, higher education, science and technology, culture, sport, youth and mass media. The parliament is also to ratify the Protocol to the INTERBUS Agreement – the international occasional carriage of passengers by coach and bus.
On the next period, the parliament will consider also a draft decision on the ceasing of the mandate of member of the administrative board of the guarantee fund of the deposits from the banking system for Victor Ermurachi, as well as the draft decisions on the appointment of Ion Josan and Ana Litocenco as members in the administrative board of the guarantee fund of the deposits from the banking system.
