Chisinau, Dec. 7 /MOLDPRES/- Professor, PhD and former Prosecutor General of Romania Augustin Lazăr and university lecturer Manole Decebal Bogdan, PhD of law at 1 Decembrie 1918 University of Alba Iulia held a public lecture for Stefan cel Mare Academy students.
Lazăr addressed the Judicial structures and legal instruments for the defense of cultural heritage, offering a broad perspective on the importance of protecting cultural heritage. The students were shown a documentary film that reveals the story of the theft of Dacian gold bracelets, which are almost 2000 years old, highlighting the investigation that lasted more than ten years and was carried out on two continents: Europe and North America. The investigation was coordinated by Augustin Lazăr, at that time, general prosecutor in Alba Iulia.
Manole Decebal Bogdan discussed the modern challenges of using digital technologies on a large scale. In his presentation, Potential risks to society, economy and administration through the large-scale use of digital technologies, the university lecturer analyzed the profound implications of technological advancement on various aspects of contemporary life, highlighting both the advantages and associated risks.
The event represented an opportunity for students to analyze current topics in the legal and technological fields, under the guidance of two experts.
