Moldovan parliament appoints new members of Competition Council

Chisinau, 7 December /MOLDPRES/ - The parliament nominated Roman Pusca as deputy head of the Plenum of the Competition Council and appointed Cornelia Gorincioi and Diana Lapteacru as members of the Plenum of the Competition Council.
The three officials were appointed for a five-year mandate and took the oath in the parliament’s plenum.
Roman Pusca has degree in law and has a diploma of master in the same field. Starting from 2020, Roman Pusca has worked at the parliament’s secretariat as assistant and adviser in the legal sector.
Cornelia Gorincioi is university lecturer at the Academy of Economic Studies from Moldova. She has earlier worked as jurist both at public and private institutions.
Diana Lapteacru has been employee of the Competition Council since 2007 and is presently head of department at the concerned institution. She has degree in law.
The Plenum of the Competition Council is a collegial body made up of five members. Under the legislation, the members are appointed to office by the parliament, at a proposal by the parliament speaker, with the opinion by the competent commission.
