Identity card can be delivered to home via MDelivery service

Chisinau, Dec. 8 /MOLDPRES/- Citizens completing identity cards at the multifunctional centers of the Public Services Agency (ASP), can receive them directly at home. When submitting the application, they can request the operator to deliver the document to their home, the ASP has reported.

Through the government delivery service (MDelivery), the identity card can be delivered to any address, both on the territory of the Republic of Moldova and abroad. "MDelivery is available for ID cards requested within 24 hours, 5, 10 or 20 working days and is available for a fee. Thus, the delivery of an identity card on the territory of the Republic of Moldova costs between 25-60 lei, and abroad - between 100-1,100 lei," the quoted source said.

Citizens can request home delivery not only of identity cards, but also of passports and extracts from state registers at the counters of ASP multifunctional centers.

MDelivery is a modern digital platform, set up by the Electronic Government Agency, under the Modernization of Government Services project, implemented by the Moldovan government with World Bank support.
