Chisinau, Dec. 8 /MOLDPRES/- The National Agency for Energy Regulation (ANRE) notes that retail fuel prices in the Republic of Moldova continued their downward trend, decreasing this week by 0.41 lei per liter for petrol and 0.39 lei per liter for diesel.
According to ANRE, the decrease is due to falling Platts quotations, which fell to the lowest level in the last 12 months for petrol and the last five months for diesel. Consequently, the current price of petrol is only 0.14 lei higher than this year's minimum level, recorded in May.
Under these conditions, for the next three days, ANRE announced a maximum price for COR 95 petrol of 23.10 lei per liter, down by 0.13 lei. At the same time, diesel will be sold at a maximum of 21.29 lei per liter, down by 0.12 lei.
