Moldovan president has phone conversation with Lithuanian, Danish, Italian officials

Chisinau, Dec. 9 /MOLDPRES/- Yesterday, President Maia Sandu had phone conversations with Lithuanian counterpart Gitanas Nausėda, Prime Minister of Denmark Mette Frederiksen and president of the Council of Ministers of the Italian Republic Giorgia Meloni, the presidential press service has reported.
The head of state spoke about the reforms we are making to modernize the Republic of Moldova and emphasized Chisinau's firm commitment to follow the European path.
Having a discussion with president of Lithuania, Maia Sandu approached the importance of continuous collaboration between the countries to strengthen the capacities of public institutions in Moldova, essential in the European integration process. In the dialogue with Danish Prime Minister Frederiksen, the head of state welcomed the initiative to open the Danish embassy in Chisinau next year, an important step in strengthening bilateral relations. At the same time, in the conversation with Italian Prime Minister Meloni, the importance of trade relations between Chisinau and Rome was emphasized.
