International Anti-Corruption Day marked in Moldova

Chisinau, Dec. 9 /MOLDPRES/- International Anti-Corruption Day is marked in Moldova.

According to the police, this year the employees of the IGP's Corruption Prevention Department organized several training workshops dedicated to the police force in order to cultivate professional integrity.

At the same time, the IGP leadership decided to award diplomas of honor to 18 police officers for their outstanding service activity, promoting the image of the Police in society and denouncing acts of corruption.

Events devoted to the fight against corruption took place today also at the Customs Service. The institution also launched a spot in which the actions undertaken by the Customs Service on this subject and the results recorded in the anti-corruption field in the current year are presented.

On December 9, the whole world marks the International Anti-Corruption Day, established by the United Nations (UN) in 2003.
