Moldovan General Police Inspectorate says 22 drivers detected driving drunk on last days off

Chisinau, 11 December /MOLDPRES/ - Twenty two drivers were removed from driving on the last days off, as they were detected driving drunk. Thirteen out of all drivers were in advanced state of ebriety.
According to the General Police Inspectorate (IGP), 934 drivers exceeded the speed established for the concerned road segment and 713 did not observe the priority road signs and the ban signals of the traffic lights.
At the same time, law-enforcers documented 103 drivers who failed to have their safety belt coupled and 499 who stopped the transport means in forbidden places.
Also, 80 drivers were documented for the failure to give legal priority to pedestrians.
On the last days off, patrol agents intervened in 275 cases, with the calls received by the 112 Single Service.
