Moldovan speaker attends international conference on rebuilding Ukraine

Chisinau, Dec. 13 /MOLDPRES/- Speaker Igor Grosu participates in an international conference - Rebuilding Ukraine and Romania's strategic role. It is the largest conference in Romania dedicated to this topic, and is held on December 13-14 in Sinaia, the parliament's communication and public relations department has reported.
During two days, it will focus on options, opportunities and challenges in rebuilding Ukraine. The forum brings together officials from the Republic of Moldova, Ukraine, Romania and other EU and NATO states, independent experts, representatives of the business environment and diplomatic staff. Grosu together with his counterpart, Nicolae Ciucă will be the main speakers of the event.
The meeting, organized by the New Strategy Center, a Romanian think tank specialized in foreign, defense and security policy, aims to debate many issues on reconstruction process of Ukraine and the strategic role that Romania must play in this context. The conference will address important topics for rebuilding Ukraine, such as the role of the Danube, challenges for freedom of navigation, energy security, the potential of green energy, food security, telecommunications and cyber, critical infrastructure, health, challenges for the private sector in the reconstruction, the connectivity between Romania, the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine or the USA's role in the Black Sea region.
