Moldovan parliament appoints deputy director of National Anticorruption Centre

Chisinau, 15 December /MOLDPRES/ - The parliament has appointed Alexandru Savca as deputy director of the National Anticorruption Centre (CNA). Fifty seven MPs voted for his appointment.
The candidacy of Alexandru Savca was put forward by the director of the National Anticorruption Centre, Alexandr Pinzari.
Since 2016 till present, Alexandru Savca has worked at CNA as chief investigations officer on emergency cases and head of department. He has been earlier employee of the Interior Ministry and the Intelligence and Security Service.
Under the legislation, the CNA deputy director is appointed to office by the parliament, at a proposal by the institution’s director. His mandate expires with the mandate of the director of the National Anticorruption Centre.
