Beneficiaries of monetary payment of 800 lei can receive compensation in Moldova

Chisinau, 15 December /MOLDPRES/ -  The beneficiaries of monetary payment worth 800 lei can receive the compensation at the post offices or can visualize it on the bank card. During this cold season, 258,879 households qualified for the getting monetary payment in last November.

According to the Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MMPS), the monetary payment is paid to the National Social Insurances House, through MPay the governmental service of electronic payments, on the beneficiary’s bank account or could be raised at any post office of Moldova, each month, for the previous month, upon the presentation of the identity card.  

„The monetary payment is provided only to the households who register on the website www.compensatii.gov.md. Thus, the low-income households which warm their home with wood or coal and which are eligible for receiving the monetary payment will get the monetary payment worth 800 lei,’’ MMPS said.  

In the 2023-2024 cold season, the Assistance for the Cold Period of the Year (APRA) was integrated in the Energy Vulnerability Information System and was increased from 700 to 800 lei.
