Rights of Moldovans employed in State of Israel to be protected

Chisinau, 20 December /MOLDPRES/ - The rights of the Moldovan citizens who are employed in the home care sector in the State of Israel will be protected. The members of the parliamentary commission for foreign policy and European integration today approved the notification on the signing of a protocol to the Agreement on the temporary employment of workers from Moldova, concluded between Moldova and the State of Israel.
The document’s goal is to ensure a legal process of employment of Moldovan citizens in the home care field. At the same time, the document is aimed at combating the illegal migration. The Agreement also promotes the social protection and of the rights to work on the period of the carrying out of the process of recruiting, selection, employment and return to Moldova.
Thus, the National Employment Agency will select the servants who fulfill all requirements. Before leaving for the State of Israel, the Agency will organize information sessions about the Israeli laws, morals, ethics and customs, which must be observed during the stay on the territory of this state. On the other hand, the Population and Immigration Authority of the Israeli Interior Ministry will make sure that the bids transmitted by the National Employment Agency meet the Israeli legislation and procedures. The institution will also ensure the protection of the rights of the Moldovan servants.
The Agreement between Moldova and the State of Israel on the temporary employment of workers from Moldova was concluded in 2012.
