PHOTO Economic units involved in dual education received certificates of compliance

Chisinau, Dec. 24 /MOLDPRES/- Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) handed out certificates of compliance to the economic units involved in dual technical vocational education and certificates to the members of the commissions for ascertaining conformity. The certificates were offered at a meeting of the committee for promotion of dual technical vocational education.

CCI head Sergiu Harea said that the event is a good opportunity to reiterate the importance of dual education. "A few days ago, we offered financing certificates for 22 economic units trained in the dual system, which will purchase equipment necessary for the professional training of students involved in the dual system, at the entrepreneur's headquarters. This will create significant development opportunities for both young people who want to build successful career in the economic field, at home and in business. I am pleased that more and more entrepreneurs pay special attention to the quality of dual education. Over the past few years, hundreds of companies have become an integral part of this process. The evolution of dual education contributes to increasing the competitiveness of the national economy", said Sergiu Harea.

President of the Committee for promotion of dual technical vocational education within the CCI Larisa Șavga said that the country had and has the opportunity to learn from Germany's experience and record remarkable successes in the dimension of dual technical vocational education. "We started in the 2014-2015 academic year with only one educational institution, one economic agent, and 29 students. Currently, in this system, we have over 30 educational institutions, about 150 economic units and 1,700 students", said Larisa Șavga.

State Secretary of the Ministry of Education and Research Galina Rusu said that when we talk about compliance, the involvement of all those who established this compliance of the economic units, we are talking about quality at work. "In our European path, we have beautiful results in the education, as we have one of the highest qualifications in all segments, in the association report, namely in the field of education. They are also based on the results in dual education. We owe these results to all the actors involved in the process", Rusu said.

The event took place with the support of the Strong Businesses and Communities for Moldova project, funded by the German Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development and the Government of Switzerland.
