USMF "Nicolae Testemițanu" nominated best students and resident doctors

Chisinau, Dec. 27 /MOLDPRES/- The State University of Medicine and Pharmacy "Nicolae Testemițanu" has nominated best students and resident doctors. The event was held under the 11th edition of the Laureate Students Gala, organized in partnership with the Association of Medical Students and Residents of Moldova.

USMF "Nicolae Testemițanu" rector Emil Ceban highlighted the performances of medical and pharmacy students: merit scholarships from the state, volunteers for solidarity actions for Ukrainian refugees, organizers of information campaigns and flashmobs etc. They also participated in many actions with social impact: blood donation campaigns, promoting a healthy lifestyle, training high school students on providing emergency medical aid, tree planting campaigns, organizing visits to hospitalized children.

“You are the best and an example to follow. We rely a lot on your intelligence, creativity and perseverance. We want you to become competent specialists in the health, promoters of a healthy lifestyle and people of high moral culture and civic responsibility", the rector said.

Emil Ceban handed out the Organizational Skills category awards for seven students. Eight students in the Studies category were nominated.

The gala continued with the awards for the laureates in the Research and Innovation category and the Sports category. The event ended with the awarding in the categories volunteering and most active promoters of USMF "Nicolae Testemițanu".
