Agenda of last plenary meeting of Moldovan parliament from 2023 year completed

Chisinau, 27 December /MOLDPRES/ - The members of the parliament’s standing bureau today approved a supplement to the agenda of the plenary meeting from 28 December.   

According to the parliament’s communication and public relations department, at the plenary meeting due on 28 December, the MPs will consider the draft on the ratification of the Agreement on Loan between the government of Moldova and Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego (Poland) for backing the development of small- and medium-sized enterprises through the Public Institution Organization for Entrepreneurship Development (ODA), signed in Chisinau on 19 December 2023. At the same time, the MPs will consider, in the first reading, amendments to the Law on veterans, as well as the parliament’s legislative agenda for the 2024 year.  

The lawmakers will consider, in the second reading, the drafts on the official controls in the agro-food sector; consolidation of the capacities of the National Justice Institute; providing of fiscal and customs facilities at the import and/or deliveries of goods and/or services meant for the implementation of the project, Improvement of education’s quality.   

The parliament will also examine a draft decision on the nomination of the representatives of the civil society, Petru Macovei and Valeriu Pasa, for the position of member of the Board of the Centre for Strategic Communication and Combating the Misinformation, as well as the appointment of Ana Litocenco and Ion Josan as members of the administrative board of the fund of guaranteeing the deposits from the banking system.       

At the last parliament meeting from the 2023 autumn session, the MPs will also consider a draft on the natural gas; a draft decision on the approval of the national integrity and anticorruption programme for the 2024-2028 years and the action plan for its implementation; a draft on Moldova’s accession to Enlarged Partial Agreement on the Register of Damage Caused by the Aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine; the draft on the national culture fund; etc.  .

On 28 December, the plenary meeting will start at 11:00.
