Overall revenues of state budget increase by 8.4 per cent in Moldova in first 11 months of 2023

Chisinau, 27 December /MOLDPRES/ - The overall state budget revenues amounted to 56.7 billion lei (2.8 billion euros) in the first 11 months of the 2023 year, - up by 8.4 per cent against the same period of the year before. The Finance Ministry unveiled figures to this effect today.
According to the quoted source, the collections from the revenues managed by the State Fiscal Service stand at about 24.3 billion lei and the ones managed by the Customs Service – 31.6 billion lei.
At the same time, the expenses amounted to 69.6 billion lei, which is by about 18 per cent more against the same period of the 2022 year.
In late last November, a deficit worth 12.8 billion lei was registered.
