President participates in Gala of Students born in Moldova

Chisinau, 27 December /MOLDPRES/ - President Maia Sandu today evening  welcomed young people brought together at the Gala of Students born in Moldova, the presidential press service has reported.

„I met again gladly this evening young Moldovans who study abroad. For these students, meeting at the end of the year has already become a tradition, in order to celebrate their results, to make friends and inspire each other,’’ the head of state said.  

President Maia Sandu congratulated the students on their progress and all the work carried out this year, urging them to continue representing Moldova with pride.

„On the next period, we everybody expect a great effort in our process of accession to the European Union and for this, we will need professionals in all sectors, ready to work with self-denial and passion for the country’s transformation. I encouraged them to return home, where they are needed and where all the dear people are waiting for them,’’ Maia Sandu noted.
