Primary CVA Centre from Causeni district hospital of Moldova successfully treats first case of cerebral vascular accident

Chisinau, 28 December /MOLDPRES/ - The Health Ministry today informed about the first case of cerebral vascular accident (CVA), taken over by the primary CVA Centre of the Ana and Alexandru district hospital from Causeni and successfully treated through intravenous thrombolysis.
According to the ministry, the treatment carried out successfully represents the effort of the multidisciplinary team from the Ana and Alexandru district hospital from Causeni: the team of the Emergency Receptions Unit, Intensive Therapy section, imagistics section, involved in making the computerized tomography and the physician neurologist in charge of the work and monitoring of the primary CVA centre, Valeriu Exari.
The primary CVA Centre of the Ana and Alexandru district hospital from Causeni has been working since 19 December this year, 24 hours, seven days per week. At the same time, during December 2023, the following institutions started working: the CVA comprehensive centre of the Emergency Medicine Institute, CVA multidisciplinary centre of the Diomid Gherman Institute of Neurology and Neurosurgery and the primary CVA centre from the Holy Trinity Municipal Clinical Hospital.
